Blueprint 1.3 — Corner Cabinets and Door Styles

Blueprint 1.3 — Corner Cabinets and Door Styles

1.3 brings two features that have been the most requested since launch.

Corner Cabinets

Blueprint now supports corner cabinets — base and wall corner variants. Place them directly from the cabinet picker the same way you place any other cabinet. The geometry is handled automatically — the L-shaped panels, the correct dimensions on both legs, and the full panel set in the cut list.

Corner cabinets open in the cabinet editor like any other cabinet. You can split openings, add doors, and adjust gaps the same way. The live 3D preview updates as you work.

For anyone designing a kitchen, this was the missing piece. A kitchen without corners is rarely a real kitchen.

Door Styles

You can now set a door style per cabinet. Four options: flat, embossed, recessed, and glass. Select a cabinet, open the inspector, and pick the style that fits your design.

Door styles are visual only — they change how the doors look in the 3D view and in photo mode, but they do not affect the cut list. A flat door and a recessed door cut from the same panel dimensions. The style is for visualisation and client presentation, not for the workshop.

This makes photo mode significantly more useful. A kitchen with glass uppers and flat base doors looks like a real design decision rather than a placeholder.

Also in this update

Free tier has been updated. Free users can now explore all demo projects and try every feature without restrictions — the overlay watermark is gone. Changes are not saved and new projects cannot be created on the free plan. If you want to save your work and start your own projects, that requires Standard Edition.

Available now

1.3 is available today on both macOS and iPad. If you are already using Blueprint, this is a free update.
