Artisans 3D Pedalboard is now on Mac. The same professional guitar signal chain from the iOS app — amp simulation, cabinet loading, the full stereo effects stack — rebuilt around a visual canvas editor designed for a proper screen and keyboard.
If you've used the iOS version, the audio engine is identical. What's different is how you build and edit your rig.

The Canvas Editor
On Mac, your signal chain is a visual canvas. Every pedal is a tile. The signal flows left to right — input at one end, speaker at the other, everything else in between.
Drag a pedal from the catalogue at the bottom and drop it anywhere on the chain. It slots into position between its neighbours. Drag any tile left or right to reorder it. Delete a pedal by clicking the trash icon on its tile. The chain rebuilds and reconnects automatically every time you make a change.
Click a pedal tile to select it and see its controls in the panel below. Every knob, toggle, and setting is there — same as on iOS, just laid out properly for a wider screen.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Number keys 1 through 9, then Q through P — each one toggles bypass on the corresponding pedal in your chain, in order. Left and right arrows move the selection through the chain. Up arrow bypasses whatever is selected.
If you're switching between a dry and a driven tone mid-song, or testing whether a pedal is actually doing anything, this is much faster than clicking.
Split Lanes
The Mac editor supports parallel signal paths. Drop a Split node into the chain and the signal divides into two independent lanes — A above, B below — which rejoin at a Merge node. Run different processing in each lane and the outputs are combined.
The obvious use is parallel compression or parallel distortion: clean signal in one lane, pushed signal in the other, blend to taste at the merge. But the same structure works for anything where you want two independent processes on the same source — different reverb characters, a dry lane and a wet lane, a pitch-shifted layer underneath the straight signal.
Splits can be nested. Lane A can itself contain another Split if you need it.
Signal Chain
The full pedal list on Mac:
Inputs — Microphone Input (any UAC1 USB interface connects automatically) and Wave File Input (load an audio file as your source, useful for practicing over a track or testing tones on a recording).
Dynamics — Compressor with Sustain, Attack, and automatic makeup gain. Noise Gate with Threshold, Attack, and Release.
Drive — Overdrive (warm, asymmetric breakup that cleans up with your volume knob), Fuzz (high-gain, cuts through, sustains long).
Modulation — Chorus with stereo LFO offset between channels for genuine width, Tremolo from gentle pulse to hard chop, Rotary Speaker with horn and drum modulation, Phaser, Flanger, Auto Wah (the filter tracks your pick attack — opens hard, closes as the note decays).
Time — Delay with Time, Feedback, Tone, and Mix. Reverb with decorrelated stereo tails, Size, Damping, and Pre-Delay.
Pitch — Pitch Shifter, up to two octaves in either direction, real-time shifting without phase vocoder flutter.
Tone — 6-Band EQ.
Looper — record and overdub directly inside the chain. Whatever goes through your signal path is what gets looped.
Utility — Gain (-24 to +24 dB), Upmix (copies one channel onto the other — fixes the silent channel problem when your interface only has signal on one side).
Amp simulation — Clean, Crunch, Spring, and Brit. Each has Bass, Mid, Treble, Presence, Gain, and Volume. Per-amp voicing is baked into the noon position so each model sounds right before you touch a single knob.
Cabinet simulation — Seven impulse responses convolution-processed on-device: US Clean 2×12, Brit Chime 2×12, Brit Stack 4×12, US Brown 1×12, US Tweed 1×12, Modern Stack 4×12, Vintage Vibra 1×12. Swap in real time, level-matched.
Recording
The Recordings tab captures the processed output of your chain to M4A. What you hear is what gets recorded — the full wet signal after every pedal, amp, and cabinet. Hit record, play, hit stop. Export from the share button. No routing configuration required.
