Artisans 3D Pedalboard is a professional real-time guitar signal chain platform for iOS. Build a complete amp rig entirely on your device — from input through amp simulation, cabinet loading, and effects, processed in true stereo.
Stack pedals, reorder them freely, dial in every parameter with precision rotary knobs, and save the entire setup as a named preset. Switching between full rigs is instant.
True Stereo Signal Chain
The entire audio graph runs stereo end to end. Mono inputs from single-channel interfaces or mono audio files are upmixed cleanly at the input stage. Effects including chorus, reverb, rotary speaker, and pitch shifter use independent per-channel processing for genuine spatial results. Force-mono mode is available when needed.
Amp Simulation
Four amp models, each voiced for a distinct playing style:
- Clean — warm, high-headroom response with natural compression
- Crunch — aggressive midrange character with harmonic density that responds to pick attack
- Spring — clean amp with a built-in spring reverb tank; presence knob controls reverb depth
- Brit — open, bright, no-feedback voicing with a harder clip response
Each amp has its own Bass, Mid, Treble, Presence, Gain, and Volume controls with per-amp voicing baked in at noon.
Cabinet Simulation
Seven cabinet impulse responses, convolution-processed on-device using hardware acceleration. All IRs are pre-normalized so swapping cabinets is level-matched and instant. Each cabinet has a Mix control.

Effects
Ten fully implemented real-time effects, each adjustable while playing:
- Overdrive — analog-style saturation with Drive, Tone, and Level
- Fuzz — high-gain asymmetric distortion
- Compressor — envelope-based dynamic control with Sustain, Attack, and Level
- Delay — echo with Time, Feedback, Tone, and Mix
- Reverb — algorithmic reverb with decorrelated stereo tails, Size, Damping, Pre-Delay, and Mix
- Tremolo — amplitude modulation with Rate and Depth
- Chorus — stereo modulated doubling with naturally offset modulation between channels
- Rotary Speaker — horn and drum band-split modulation with strong stereo rotation cues
- Pitch Shifter — low-latency real-time pitch shifting up to two octaves
- 6-Band EQ — parametric tone shaping across the full frequency range
Input and Output
The app is designed for use with a USB Class 1 compliant audio interface. If your interface is UAC1 compliant, it connects and works automatically with no configuration required. Most compact USB-C guitar dongles and wireless guitar receivers qualify.
Once connected, the signal routes through your chain and out to headphones, speakers, or your interface output.

Save complete pedalboard setups as named presets and recall them instantly. Seven ready-to-play chains are included to get started immediately — from clean studio tones to heavy fuzz walls and ambient washes. Every preset is fully editable.
