Blueprint 1.7 — Integrated model library

Blueprint 1.7 — Integrated model library

1.7 adds a real object library to the 3D room editor — no more hunting the web for free OBJ files just to put a couch in your kitchen render.

Built-in 3D Model Library

Blueprint now ships with 80+ furniture, appliance, and decor models, sorted into 13 categories — seating, tables, beds, kitchen appliances, sinks and faucets, lighting, plants, electronics, textiles, and more.

Open the 3D Model Library from the toolbar in the room editor, browse by category, and drop a model straight into the room. Everything is pre-scaled, so a chair lands at chair size and a fridge lands at fridge size — no more resizing a model 100x after import.

Your own OBJ imports still work exactly as before, right next to it in the same panel. This just means you don't need one for the everyday stuff anymore.

This is the first pass, not the finished shelf. We're adding to the library on an ongoing basis — more appliances, more decor, more categories — so it keeps growing with every release.

Refreshed Sample Projects

The preseeded demo projects have been updated to show off the new library — new decor, better staged rooms, and a few product images refreshed along the way.

Also in this update

Object drag handles behave more predictably when moving larger pieces, and a handful of library assets have been fixed and replaced.

Available now

1.7 is available today on macOS and iPad. If you are already using Blueprint, this is a free update.
